The children will work in small groups, and each group will make a pop-up book that will intrigue, amuse and inform particular readers. The readers may be the children themselves or another identified group.

Paul Heyes works at primary school in the north west of England. He had made a pop-up book when he was at college and at the time had wondered if he would ever get the chance to use it in his teaching. Well "Will this story surprise your?" gave him the chance.
