What music would you like to make?
The big task is to design and make a simple musical instrument and use it to play a part in a piece for four players.

They could all talk about the instruments they had made and explain how they worked in terms of which parts were vibrating and making the sound.

Musical instruments from everyday items (June 19, 2003)
Year 3 children worked for three days on their musical instruments. They used everyday materials, like bottles and boxes, and were able to transform them into musical masterpieces.
