Putting on a special event
Often the focus of your visit will be a special 'one- off' event. Both the BA and Science Year, now called Planet Science run events - see the More? card and Try this! card for more details.
If at all possible it is important that these events are developed as part of the curriculum experience of the children with some lesson time devoted to preparation before the event and some lesson time spent on follow up. In this way the children are more likely to be successful in the event and the learning they achieve can be consolidated.
