Why use multimedia authoring?
Using multimedia authoring software allows you to design and make interactive software to communicate a particular idea or body of information for a particular user. Even young children can learn valuable skills while creating their own multimedia software. There are some valuable comments made by a KS1 teacher in the Showcase activity report for Dream bus, e.g. "During this Nuffield activity my class learned to work collaboratively to produce a whole class end product" Linda Chapple.
