Pastry products modelled before baking

The children were able to draw several possible pastry product ideas and then explore the construction of the chosen idea using playdough.
The range of products was wide including volcanoes, clocks, mobile phones, faces, football team items and initials.

 

The resulting pastry products reflected the sketching and the playdough modelling. The children's thinking throughout the designing and making assignment was connected.
