Doing the unit myself was the first step
Alison Trueman works at primary school in the north west of England. She had very little experience of technical designing and making, so she did the unit herself.
Even a Spider Man roly poly!
They had really used the specification and drawings to guide them with their making.
'The best fruit salad in the world'
The unit was carried out over a week with all the lessons relevant to the topic; we read books, sorted and counted fruit, etc. the work laid out in the D&T plans.
