Food Partnership Week June 25 – 29

This is a splendid opportunity to teach some food technology using the Nuffield primary solutions units. There are 5 units on the CD ROM in the pack. They are also available in the Resources Section of the website.



Year 1 Which fruits would be good in your salad?

Year 2 How do you like your toast?

Year 3 How cool is your drink?

Year 4 What shape should your pastry be?

Year 5 How do you take your tea?

In the Archive there are two more activities directly involving food that you might like to try: Baking bread (for Key Stage 2) and Apple tasting (Key Stage 2 Products and Applications small task) plus an activity dealing with packaging which of course can involve considering food Containers (KS2 products and applications small task)

And of course if you and your children design and make good food products do let us know what you did and send us some photos for the Showcase.
