What parts of your picture should move?

An alternative approach to investigating pictures
An alternative approach to investigating pictures is to divide the class into groups of four and give each group a different picture to investigate. The children in each group are responsible for discussing what is in the picture and identifying three things that they find interesting.

Each group then reports back to the class about their picture and answer questions posed by you and the class such as:
o What is that person doing?
o What was happening just before the picture?
o What is going to happen next?
Finally each group should be asked which parts of the picture they would want to move if the story were to come alive?
