Using Adults other than teachers in the classroom
4
Is it worth doing?
- Your class will enjoy listening to an unfamiliar adult and will learn even more if they frame their own questions and record the answers. Have a discussion with them after the visit to find out just what they have learned so that you can evaluate the session.
- Tape recording a visit can lead to subsequent listening, recalling and reviewing exercises.
- Taking photographs or even a video recording will also provide a useful resource.
