What are Science & Engineering Ambassadors?

For schools - What is a Scientist? What is an Engineer?
What do scientists and engineers actually do? Well, the fruits of their labours are all around us. Most of the food that we eat, the water we drink and the clothes we wear are brought to us by scientists and engineers.

The cars, trains, ships and planes that we travel on are products of science and engineering, as are the roads, rails, waterways and runways that carry them. The hospitals where we are cared for and the equipment used in them are designed and built by engineers and the medicines developed by scientists.
The revolution in information and communication technology (ICT) is actually a scientific and engineering revolution.
