Supporting Primary Science

Teaching staff in primary schools
The Science Subject Leader is the teacher in the school who organises the resources for teaching Science. Often the role also includes responsibility for supporting other members of staff with training and help in planning activities.
The Subject Leader often develops the whole school plan for Science so it fits in with the requirements of other curriculum areas and with the particular circumstances of that individual school and its pupils.
The class teacher will have carefully planned for long term (this school year), medium term (this school term) and short term (each day).
Teachers also evaluate how successfully they have achieved their expected learning outcomes from each lesson. Each child's progress is monitored, evaluated and recorded regularly.
