Introduction
In this tutorial you can learn more about the subject knowledge required to teach the unit and effective ways of teaching this unit. The Big Task in "How will your beast open its mouth?" is to design and make a model animal with a moving mouth from studying their own mouth and head movements and those of animals. The mechanisms used by the children are restricted to a cam and follower, a simple crank and a crank slider.
